I have another paper house to share with you. This one is small, made with cream card stock. I’m telling ya, if you get started, you are going to hook on making paper houses!
I made the pattern myself, but if you would like ready-made templates, check out THIS SITE. It has oodles of ideas and templates, all from different websites/bloggers.
The materials used can be found at Michael’s.
1. Card Stock
2. Decoupage glue (Martha Stewart Crafts)
3. Extra Fine Glitter in “Snow” (Recollections)
4. Elmer’s “Xtreme” glue stick. (This is the best glue to use when gluing the house together. I tried so many different adhesives!)
5. Buffalo Snow Flurries. (The “snow” on the house)
6. Small bottle brush tree
The green glass came from Ikea. I bought it the last time I was there, not knowing what I was going to do with it. And the snow on top of the green glass is “snow” I had to fill up glass vases during the holiday.
After the house was put together, I lightly applied decoupage glue to the house, then sprinkled the glitter. After the glitter was dry, I added the Buffalo snow to parts of the roof.
And that’s it! It’s fun and easy! Let me know if you make a house of your own. I’d love to see it!
